Andrei Eugen Lakatos graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest (2005), and holds a Franco-Romanian Master’s degree in “Integrated Urban Development” (2007) as well as a PhD in Architecture (2011). His doctoral thesis was published in 2017 by the Arhitext Design Foundation Publishing House under the title “Conversion in Context. On the Regeneration of Industrial Spaces.” He has been a licensed architect since 2007 and is a member of the Order of Architects of Romania. Since 2005, he has been a faculty member at the Faculty of Architecture, where he currently serves as a Lecturer. At present, he leads a design studio taught in English within the Faculty of Architecture.
